How you can support our next century.

Preparing the Arboretum for Tomorrow’s Challenges and Opportunities

Campaign Goal of $5M

As we celebrate the longevity and legacy of the Arnold Arboretum, we seek to build capacity and resilience for the challenges of the twenty-first century. Your multi-year commitment to operational sustainability will enable us to advance new initiatives connected to the care of our collections and landscape and enable us to continue to champion our values for community outreach and excellence in public programming. This support will help us:

  • Add horticulture staff and gardeners to care for our collections and maintain new landscaping created through our sesquicentennial capital projects;
  • Develop more robust public programming and outreach, including the new Mobile Visitor Center, for improved and equitable access;
  • Continue to focus on communicating conservation efforts supporting biodiversity and Arboretum efforts to curb use of fossil fuels in our operations.

For a donation of $2,500 or more, we welcome you into our Sargent-Olmsted Society; our Director’s Circle recognizes contributors of multi-year donations of $25,000 or more. Membership in these core groups means that you are instrumental in the Arboretum’s continued strength in horticulture and protecting biodiversity. And you are key in fulfilling our founding promise as a public park in the City of Boston. Visit this page to read more and join our Sargent-Olmsted Society or Director’s Circle.
