By subway
Take the MBTA Orange Line to its southern end—Forest Hills. Exit through the door marked “Arnold Arboretum.” Cross Washington Street and walk up Arborway to the Arboretum’s Forest Hills Gate on your left. Enter the gate and walk straight up the road. Take a left onto Beech Path and continue until it turns into a paved road (Hemlock Hill Road). Walk down Hemlock Hill Road. Just before Bussey Street Gate, turn right onto the dirt road and walk straight ahead to Walter Street Gate. Cross the road and take the dirt driveway to the Weld Hill Building parking lot. Take a left at the intersection with the paved driveway. Continue up the driveway loop until you reach the greenhouses.
By bus
Take the #35 or #38 to Centre Street @ Weld Hill. Walk northeast up Centre Street, past Weld Street, and take a right into the Weld Hill parking lot. Continue through the parking lot and around the driveway loop until you reach the greenhouses on the other side of the building.
By car
There is a parking lot at the Weld Hill Research Building available for program participants. Participants can also park along sides of the back driveway (which is closer to the greenhouses), keeping tires on the pavement.
