The Arnold Arboretum is a partnership of Harvard University and the City of Boston, yet receives no annual funding to operate from either entity. Our critical work in horticulture, research, and education is fully funded through present and past philanthropy. In Fiscal Year 2022, a full 19% of the Arnold Arboretum’s operating budget came from current gifts and memberships. We need your financial help to keep our landscape vibrant and to activate our research and educational mission both in Boston and around the globe.
