Todd Washburn, Chief of Staff and Director of Administration

As Chief of Staff and Director of Administration, I work with colleagues at the Arnold Arboretum, at Harvard, and beyond, to ensure that the Arboretum is and remains a place of discovery, beauty, and wonder. Prior to joining the Arboretum, I worked for the City of Boston, where I managed the integration of the Boston Planning and Development Agency into the City, and oversaw the City’s allocation of funds from the American Rescue Plan Act; and in the Provost’s Office at Harvard, as Senior Assistant Provost for International Affairs.

I believe deeply in the Arboretum’s teaching, research, and civic missions and am thrilled to play a part in supporting its contributions to Harvard, to Boston, and to the world.
