I am fortunate to work with an amazing team of passionate people in stewarding this majestic landscape. As Director of Horticulture & Landscape at the Arnold Arboretum, my role is to lead the horticultural care and design of Harvard’s museum of living trees.
I am a native North Carolinian but have found my home, along with my wife, Carrie, here in New England. We spent the past 11 years living, working, and raising our four kids in Maine. We are excited to begin this new chapter living and working here in Boston.
Aside from geeking out about plants and design, I enjoy gardening, starting home improvement projects, and going on long bike rides to avoid finishing these projects.
