Lauren Strack, Manager of Visitor Engagement

As the Manager of Visitor Engagement, I have the privilege of helping visitors engage with nature at the Arnold Arboretum. In my position I work with a fantastic team of staff and volunteers to provide a welcoming experience for all visitors across the landscape through a variety of public and private tours, interpretation experiences, education programs, and orientation resources for this incredible collection at the Hunnewell Visitor Center and our Mobile Visitor Center.

Before arriving at the Arboretum, I worked in visitor engagement at a wide variety of nature and historic sites, including Headwaters at the Comal in New Braunfels, Texas; The Alamo in San Antonio, Texas; Hillwood Estate Museum and Gardens in Washington, DC; and George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate in Alexandria, Virginia. As a recent transplant to Boston, I enjoy spending my free time exploring the many parks, museums, and cultural sites in the area.
