Biography
As a graduate student in the Taylor Lab, I am interested in understanding how global change conditions—such as drought, rising temperatures, and increasing atmospheric CO2—shape interactions between plants and their associated soil microorganisms. In particular, I seek to investigate how these local plant-mycorrhizal responses to global change can influence broader ecosystem functions and nutrient cycling. I am further motivated by how the distinct ecology of mycorrhizal types could lead to variation in their hosts’ resilience or vulnerability to climate change.
