Declan Devine, Seasonal Gardener

I work on the day to day stewardship of the landscape focusing on landscape maintenance and collection renovations projects. Prior to joining the Arboretum I ran invasive species management and riparian restoration project as an Environmental Scientist for the Neponset River Watershed Association. I also serve as a lead steward with the Boston Food Forest Coalition where I manage a collection of 90 species of edible and medicinal plants.

I am grateful for the joy I feel from connecting with plants everyday. I am passionate about cultivating my relationships with plants and sharing these relationships with others through education. I also love collecting and cooking with wild foods as well as playing music.
