Biography

As the Editorial and Production Assistant, I work with our team and talented contributors to develop and produce each Arnoldia issue. At every stage in the process, I look forward to engaging written and visual content that enlivens our ecological imaginaries, roots us deeper in our lived environments, and fosters relationships between human and non-human communities. In my role with Arnoldia, I am eager to be immersed in and learn from the rich historical and natural landscapes that shape and are shaped by the Arnold Arboretum.
Prior to Arnoldia, I studied religion, ethics, and politics at Harvard Divinity School where my coursework and research focused on the public memory of settler colonialism and natural history in North America. I grew up in the Rocky Mountains and the Midwest where my passions for nature, museums, archives, and storytelling emerged. I love biking to work, spending time with family and friends, birding, swimming, and reading.
