Andrew (AJ) Tataronis, Arboretum Arborist

I have always maintained a passion and deep appreciation for nature and climbing trees. I started in the field of arboriculture as a young adult, dragging brush for a small local tree care company, and haven’t looked back. After graduating from UMass, I worked at Longwood Gardens in Philadelphia, PA. At Longwood I gained quality knowledge of working with historic trees, and really developed my skills as a climbing arborist. I started at the Arnold Arboretum in May 2018 and have had a beautiful experience working with this amazing collection. It is a great opportunity for me to be at a place with such history and impressive trees, and I am grateful for it. I look forward to using all my knowledge and skills to help preserve these awesome trees!
