The persimmon fruit are perfectly ripe on Bussey Hill Road: come join Horticulturist Brendan Keegan for a Tree Mob and learn about this fascinating tree’s natural history as well as its delicious uses for both humans and wildlife.

Accessibility: This program takes place on the paved road and the grassy slope right around the tree, with minimal walking.
Audience: This program is geared towards adults.
Inclement weather policy: Participants will be notified via email at least one day in advance if a program needs to be cancelled due to inclement weather, and will be notified by phone if a program must be cancelled with less than one day’s notice.
