Sip in the Scenery

This June, for our valued members, the Arnold Arboretum is launching a new event in our vibrant landscape, Sip in the Scenery! Join us for lawn games, educational content tables on horticulture and Arboretum history, camaraderie, Hungry Nomads food truck, a cash bar, and more, all set in the verdant beauty of our Bradley Rosaceous Collection on a rosy June evening.

Accessibility: This is a stationary event on mowed grass, about 150 feet from the paved road.

Audience: This members-only event is for ages 21+.

Inclement Weather Policy: We hope for good weather, but the location of this event may shift indoors if necessitated by unfavorable conditions.

By subway

Take the MBTA Orange Line to its southern end—Forest Hills. Exit through the door marked “Arnold Arboretum,” cross Washington Street, and walk up Arborway. Enter the Arboretum through Forest Hills Gate on your left and continue for a tenth of a mile to the intersection. The Bradley Rosaceous Collection will be on your right.

By bus

Take the #39 bus to the Forest Hills MBTA station. Cross Washington Street and walk up Arborway to the Arboretum’s Forest Hills Gate on your left. Enter the gate and continue for a tenth of a mile to the intersection. The Bradley Rosaceous Collection will be on your right.

By car

There is public parking on Arborway by Forest Hills Gate, including designated accessible spots. Forest Hills Gate is just a few minute walk from the Bradley Rosaceous Collection.
