Join Manager of Adult Programming and Events Sarah Nechamen for a deep dive into the strangest parts of the plant world. This month’s theme is mutualisms and symbioses: from plants that recruit ant armies to defend against herbivores, to mycorrhizal networks that stretch deep into the soil, explore all of the weird and wonderful ways plants work with other creatures to meet their needs.
Accessibility: This program will cover about a mile and a half on paved roads, gravel paths, mowed grass, and off-path terrain.
Audience: This members-only program is geared towards adults.
Inclement weather policy: Participants will be notified via email at least one day in advance if a program needs to be cancelled due to inclement weather, and will be notified by phone if a program must be cancelled with less one day’s notice.
