Stop by the rhododendron collection to chat with the Horticulturist who manages the Arboretum’s beautiful rhododendron shrubs. Horticulturist Brendan Keegan will be there from 2:00pm to 4:00pm answering questions about caring for rhododendrons, the Arboretum’s rhododendron collection, and what it’s like to be a horticulturist here. No registration is required, just stop by!

By subway

Take the MBTA Orange Line to its southern end—Forest Hills. Exit through the door marked “Arnold Arboretum.” Cross Washington Street and enter through Washington Street Gate. Walk up the Blackwell Footpath until you reach an intersection, cross the street, and enter through South Street Gate. Walk about a minute up the road and take a left at the intersection. The rhododendrons will be on your left.

By bus

Take the #35 or #38 bus to Centre Street @ Faulkner Hospital. Cross Centre Street, walk north up Centre Street for a few minutes, and enter through the Centre Street Gate on the right. Bear right at the intersection, and then another right at the next intersection. The rhododendrons will be on your left.

By car

The closest street parking is on Flora Way, a 5-minute walk from this location.
