Join us for an interactive look at all the tiny critters that crawl, fly, or slither through the Arboretum landscape. We will have sweep nets and bug boxes to catch bugs in Kent Field, digital microscopes to get a closer look, and entomologists to help us identify everything we find. This is an all-ages, interactive program: come prepared to move around and get up close with some bugs and insects!
This is a drop-in event: join us any time between 10:00am and 12:00pm.
Location: This event takes place in the Conifer Collection (see map), just across the footbridge that leads from Hemlock Hill Road. There will be signs directing participants from Flora Way Gate to the event.
Accessibility: This program begins on an intersection of dirt paths in the Conifer Collection, just over a small wooden bridge. The terrain includes a moderate slope.
