I am currently a Web Developer/Applications Programmer at the Arnold Arboretum. Most recently, I transferred our website into the content management system WordPress. Prior to this, I was the Managing Editor for Harvard Papers in Botany and also the Web Manager for the Harvard University Herbaria. My career in technology began about 4 years ago, I am currently finishing a Master’s in Information Technology from the Harvard University Extension School. I started out as a botanist and worked for several years as a horticulturist, and then in a plant phylogenetic lab conducting seed germination studies and DNA sequencing experiments. I also volunteer at the Arboretum leading tours of the grounds.
