Maureen Hickey, Chief of Staff

As a native Bostonian,  I have enjoyed countless hours in the Arboretum landscape throughout my life.  I am thrilled to now be part of the team who stewards this very special institution.

I am a strategic planner, who is skilled at bringing plans and projects to life. I pride myself on being highly collaborative, keen on developing genuine relationships, and eager to understand different perspectives.

I have a Masters in City and Regional Planning and have spent much of my career working in real estate for colleges in Boston. Having held leadership positions in campus planning and real estate development at Berklee College of Music, Northeastern University, and Harvard University, I have worked to advance the institutional mission and find opportunities to enhance the public spaces and opportunities available to the local community.

I live in Roslindale and in my free time I enjoy gardening, hiking, skiing, and spending time with my two young children.
