As the Plant Growth Facilities Manager, I oversee the greenhouse, common garden, and growth chamber operations at the Weld Hill Research Facility. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and German from the University of Vermont. After graduating, I spent time as a Fulbright Scholar in Berlin, Germany. My background is in urban agriculture and community food systems and I am passionate about the areas of overlap between horticulture and environmental justice. Previously, I worked at the Dana Greenhouses at the Arnold Arboretum and am humbled to continue in my current role alongside such talented plant stewards, mentors, and, of course, the trees.
