The Explorers Garden in the Winter
The Explorers Garden is bursting with things to see in the winter. Join Keeper of the Living Collections Michael Dosmann for a walk around the Explorers Garden and Bussey Hill to see beautiful bark, interesting evergreens, and maybe even some winter-blooming flowers. From plumb yews to wintersweet, the Explorers Garden has a lot to offer this time of year.
Accessibility: This program will go over mulch paths, pavement, and off-path terrain. The paths are not shoveled, so bring snow boots if there is snow on the ground!
Audience: This program is geared towards adults.
Inclement weather policy: Participants will be notified via email at least one day in advance if a program needs to be cancelled due to inclement weather, and will be notified by phone if a program must be cancelled with less one day’s notice.
