Skip the Small Talk (And Walk!)
The Arboretum is partnering with Skip the Small Talk to help visitors get to know each other (and themselves) on a deeper level, all while walking through the beautiful Arboretum landscape. With conversational prompts posted at strategic points around the landscape, we’ll pair you off and send you on your way to start your conversation. Each time we reach a stopping point, the group will shuffle and everyone will get a new partner and a new topic. The prompts and structure are designed to create close connections with new people, without all the awkwardness.
Can’t make this event? The signs will be out in the landscape for a month after the program, so grab a friend and start talking!
