Monthly Yoga at the Arboretum

Join Linda Wells, “The Wellness Warrior,” for a monthly yoga series in the rose garden throughout the summer. This is an inclusive, adaptable practice outdoors for everyone regardless of age, size, shape, and abilities.

Sessions take place on June 23, July 21, and August 25, from 5-6pm.

Linda Wells is certified to teach yoga at the 500-hour level. She holds multiple training certificates, including Trauma-informed yoga for youth and teens, Accessible Yoga for people with disabilities, living with chronic pain, and larger bodies.

Audience: This program is appropriate for all ages.

Inclement weather policy: Participants will be notified via email at least 24 hours in advance if a program needs to be cancelled due to inclement weather, and will be notified by phone if a program must be cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice. Click here to view our full inclement weather policy. If you have questions about the status of a program, please email or call the Visitor Center desk between 10:00am and 4:00pm at (617) 384-5209.

By subway

Take the MBTA Orange Line to its southern end—Forest Hills. Exit through the door marked “Arnold Arboretum,” cross Washington Street, and walk up Arborway. Enter the Arboretum through Forest Hills Gate on your left and continue for a tenth of a mile to the intersection. The Bradley Rosaceous Collection will be on your right.

By bus

Take the #39 bus to the Forest Hills MBTA station. Cross Washington Street and walk up Arborway to the Arboretum’s Forest Hills Gate on your left. Enter the gate and continue for a tenth of a mile to the intersection. The Bradley Rosaceous Collection will be on your right.

By car

There is public parking on Arborway by Forest Hills Gate, including designated accessible spots. Forest Hills Gate is just a few minute walk from the Bradley Rosaceous Collection.
