Horse-of-Course with Boston Park Rangers
Come join a Boston Park Ranger and one of the mounted units from their herd for a ‘meet and greet.’ Learn about their role in the parks and how the rangers care for their mounted partners. These programs usually last from 30 minutes to an hour.
This program may meet a little further down Meadow Road than usual to avoid construction: if you don’t see them outside the Hunnewell Building, look for the horses near the start of Linden Path.
Horse-of-Course programs are a part of Boston’s park and recreation programs, which collectively are called ‘Hike Boston.’ However, Horse-of-Course is a stationary program without any hiking or walking.
Accessibility: This is a stationary program taking place on paved ground outside the entrance to Linden Path.
Audience: This program is appropriate for all ages.
