Hemlock Hill Up Close
Hemlock Hill is one of the Arboretum’s handful of minimally managed, natural areas, and there are dozens of plants and animals that make their home there. The hemlocks cast heavy shade and acidify the soil, creating a unique ecosystem for the resident flora and fauna. Join Horticulturist Brendan Keegan for this walk around Hemlock Hill and take a deep dive into the site’s ecology, management, and history.
