SUMMARY:Bizarre Botany: Pollination
DESCRIPTION:The meeting location for this program has been changed to Poplar Gate. \n\n\n\nThis is a members-only program. Not a member? Click here to join. \n\n\n\nJoin Manager of Adult Programming and Events Sarah Nechamen for a deep dive into the strangest parts of the plant world. This month’s theme is pollination: from flowers that hide underground to flowers that smell like rotting fruit\, explore all of the weird and wonderful ways plants have found to get pollinated. \n\n\n\nAccessibility: This program will cover about a mile and a half on paved roads\, gravel paths\, mowed grass\, and off-path terrain. \n\n\n\nAudience: This members-only program is geared towards adults. \n\n\n\nInclement weather policy: Participants will be notified via email at least one day in advance if a program needs to be cancelled due to inclement weather\, and will be notified by phone if a program must be cancelled with less one day’s notice. Click here to view our full inclement weather policy. If you have questions about the status of a program\, please email publicprograms@arnarb.harvard.edu (inbox monitored on weekdays) or call the Visitor Center desk between 10:00am and 4:00pm at (617) 384-5209.
