DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Arboretum as we read and discover new things about the natural world. During this one-hour program for our youngest guests and their grownups\, we will read a nature inspired story\, do a craft/activity\, and go for a nature walk to continue exploring the theme. Each week’s theme is inspired by what is happening seasonally at the Arboretum. Click here to learn more about upcoming themes. \n\n\n\nThis program will primarily take place in the landscape\, weather permitting and is geared toward children ages 3-5. \n\n\n\nPlease select tickets below for the number of adults attending and the number of children participating in the program. Ticket sales close two hours before the start of the program. Registration is encouraged\, but not required.

DESCRIPTION:This is a members-only program. Not a member? Click here to join. \n\n\n\nHave you ever noticed the small tufts of hair found at the intersection of veins on a maple leaf? These structures\, called mite domatia\, provide shelter and protection for predatory mites\, which defend the plant against herbivores and pathogens in return.
