Birds of the Arnold Arboretum
This checklist includes 185 species of birds that have been recorded over the past 100 years within the 265 acres of the Arnold Arboretum.
The checklist was prepared in 2006 by Robert Mayer with contributions from several other local birders. Other sightings were obtained from lists compiled by C. E. Faxon (1895)/ Richard Weaver (1971) and Miriam Dickey (1976). Revised 2007.
Unusual sightings may be reported to the Hunnewell Visitor Center or to arbweb@arnarb.harvard.edu.
