I joined the Arboretum in January 2012 as part-time program assistant for the Center for Tropical Forest Science. I’ve worked more than fifteen years as an administrator at Harvard, first at the Charles Warren Center for Studies in American History and later at the Harvard Law School’s Islamic Legal Studies Program. Thirty years ago, my first Harvard job was in the Invertebrate Department of the Museum of Comparative Zoology, and I’m delighted to be working once again with people who study the natural world.
In addition to English literature, I have also studied entomology and voice (opera). I have traveled on my own in France and Italy, and love using my serviceable French and Italian there. My passions include reading, writing, music, travel, and kayaking.
